Environmental Greenspace

Urbanization causes permanent changes in the landscape. Bringing nature back into these areas during the development process is extremely rewarding. We have completed many stormwater management ponds, naturalizing buffers and diversion channels, working with the Credit Valley Conservation Authority, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and the Department of Fisheries. Each project usually presents some environmental issue and Hermanns is committed to re-establishing as many areas as possible.
Every little bit helps, from preventing large washouts due to soil removal to something as small as building a residential pond to save frogs from pool water.
