Wildflowers & Native Grasses
As important contributors to the naturalization of open space lands, conservation lands, stormwater management ponds and channel diversion projects, the use of wild flowers and native grasses not only add an aesthetic quality to our client's projects, but also provide important habitat for the indigenous wildlife and birds of these newly created urban landscapes. Most projects require the wild flower and native grasses to be mixed with a nurse crop that germinates quickly during the maturation period. In some instances there is also a dependence on the nurse crop to control weed growth. Our BioEarth™ seeding soil promotes quick germination of the nurse crop and the residual nutritional content of the soil sustains rapid growth within the seed mix.
As some of these projects can be challenging to access and have specific client and regulatory requirements, the Terraseeding™ process becomes the most cost effective application yielding successful results second to none.
